4x2 mockup of the rear spring so I can get locations for the lower tie rod mounts :) just ordered a boatload of CDS tubing as well so I can weld them up :) this project’s taking a while, but it’s getting there :)

Are you hooking up the LCAs to control toe during all this? Might be good to check the toe regardless...

Disregard that, I forgot your tie rods are custom adjustable.

Admittedly this still worries me. Are you still looking at positive camber under compression?

You’re back! Safe journies, obviously. Where did you end up going?

No worries :) how was your flight?

Nope :) the mounts you can see are for the OEM wishbones. Mine will mount under the chassis so they’ll be longer. Using the leaf spring as the upper link also means that it bends in an arc rather than a straight line, so the effective length of the upper link is shortened under compression or droop, resulting in zero (or at least minimal) camber change.

The guy who first tried this sort of setup has done some tests with a camber gauge and at rest, full compression and full droop it was all reading 1.5 deg negative :)

Ooh you might actually get some sweet sweet grips while cornering! Best of luck.

Pretty good flight on the London-Philly leg - extra seats to stretch a bit. Flight on the Philly - Atlanta leg had loud babies.

Other than Hadrian’s Wall sites and the rail museum, not much. I gave you a breakdown via email somewhat - check your spam folder?

Nerp, unless your real name is Brittany Stryker and you’re offering Married People Sex Dating...?

As if I would use my real name for my sex business emails. But seriously, if you aren’t getting my emails that would be odd. Last I sent would be time stamped wed late afternoon - I didn’t detail the Wall sightseeing like I thought I did, though. Went to Chesters and Housesteads, and Aydon Castle, though it was closed that day.

That’s what I’m hoping :) I’ll set up some jigs and make a batch while I’m at it, see if I can sell a few sets as it sorts a lot of the rear suspension issues on these cars.
